Really loved working with, Eva. She opened up my eyes to many aspects of my book which needed extra work or clarification. I truly felt like I had a partner who cared about the success of the book while I refined its story, and not just an editor. In addition to improving the book and its character development and flow, by using Eva's services I was also able to improve my own writing abilities and skills. Working with Eva was an amazing experience for me. Not only Eve is a true expert, but she cares about the work. It was very important to me that she read the work very precisely, tried to connect to it, and then sent her professional opinions. This was not very simple considering I am not a native English writer, and my text is not as smooth and easy as those written by natives.
She valued me and my work as an individual, and did not consider me as just another client.
Her developmental editing was so fruitful. Even though my work was a collection of short stories, she found a good number of gaps and improvement points. The gaps that I would not believe they might exist in my work!
Eva also gave a valuable/interesting piece of advice on how I can better connect to my readers, which I believe it will be a game changing.
The text after the editing was hundred times better and smoother.
All in all, the experience was definitely 5 star.

I was fortunate enough to come a cross to Eva Maria, her vast knowledge in editing, helped me to have a better manuscript, and when I say better, it means the original one was full of errors, passive voice and too much telling without showing.
It was hard for me to get to that basic rule of to tell and show, between my self-pride and stubbornness Eva Maria gave me great support, she is a great mentor, and helped me all the way to the last chapter.
Whether my MS will see the light of publishing that is another story, for the time being is half decent and a bit more readable.
